Linda graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Public Administration and a certificate in Programming and Data Processing. She worked as a computer programmer for 20 years before deciding to go back to school to get an MBA from UC Irvine. While working on her MBA, she found time to be an active board member in the Prentice Parent Guild, volunteer in The Prentice School Library, and work on the Prentice Yearbook. After completing her degree, she decided to devote even more hours to the Library. She has enjoyed working with the students and running the Library so much that she is now working on a Master’s Degree in Library Science with a School Librarian emphasis. This will be her fifth school year being the librarian (and her tenth year being active at Prentice.) She is also the school’s yearbook editor and teaches the yearbook elective for 7th and 8th graders.
Linda and her husband Brad have a daughter (who attended Prentice for five years), a first year student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Irvine and a son, who is a sophomore studying bio-engineering at the University of Washington. This year she adopted a cat and a puppy and they keep her very busy.
When Linda is not studying, working on the yearbook or playing with her pets, she enjoys traveling, photography, jewelry making and scrapbooking.
